As part of the commemorations of the International Day of Microorganisms (17th September 2023), the Lisbon Academy of Sciences (ACL) and his Institute of Higher Studies, in collaboration with the Portuguese Society of Microbiology (SPM), organize, on September 18, an afternoon on dissemination of microbiology. In the contest of the climate crisis, the theme of the session is: LIFE ON OUR PLANET DEPENDS ON MICROORGANISMS. Read more here.
Talks will be in Portuguese and available via Zoom platform and on YouTube channel from ACL. The afternoon will be closed with the presentation in English by Dr. Rino Rappuoli on “Save the microbes to save the Planet”.
