In preparation for the IUMS 2024 Congress (Florence, 23-25 October), IUMS in partnership with Pathogens journal has recently lunched a special issue on Microbial Pathogenesis and Emerging Infections to encourage scientists submitting manuscripts that will stimulate the discussion that will occur at the IUMS meeting. The focus of the articles will be on microbial pathogenesis and how this relates to emergency infections.
