The United Nations General Assembly proclaimed the period 2024–2033 the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Developmen and invited UNESCO to lea its implementation.
This Decade presents a unique opportunity for humanity to unlock the full potential of science in pursuing sustainable development and ensuring a safe and prosperous future for all.
Governments and all other relevant stakeholders in Member States of the United Nations are encouraged to actively support the implementation of the Decade, in collaboration with UNESCO.
