Climate Change Takes Center Stage at IUMS 2024
The IUMS 2024 Congress in Florence is set to spotlight climate change as a major topic of discussion. This edition of the congress will feature a great
joint initiative between the International Union of Microbiological Societies (IUMS) and the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) titled “Microbes and Climate Change” (October 23rd at 13.15, Auditorium room) aimed to explore the critical role that microbes play in our planet’s.
This initiative will be followed by a panel discussion on “Climate Change and Microbe-Driven Sustainable Solutions” (October 24th at 17.50 , Auditorium room) in which experts from around the globe will share insights and strategies aiming to drive actionable and sustainable solutions against climate change.
A comprehensive paper summarizing the key points from the panel discussion will be produced.
